Success alert: stop these 5 habits and become highly successful

Everyone likes the idea of being successful, yet for many people, it just remains an idea

Only very few people can turn this idea into a reality

The purpose of this blog post is to ensure you're part of the latter

Before now, the focus had been on what you should do to be successful while little attention was given to Success killer factors

I am a lover of applicable knowledge, whenever I feel the need for the solution to something I search it out. I don't stop there I apply it, I don't recommend anything until I have tried it out myself and have seen its effectiveness

Like you, I am a person who places high value on Success but then I discovered that it's not enough to know how to get that Success, I should know how not to lose it, how to protect it and one of such is how not to be successful

By now you should know I love to share I am happier when I see everyone happy and that includes you

Why is this blog post important to you?

Because the success killer factors are habits common to all men and expect you to take deliberate action against them, you'll keep meeting yourself at the same spot

You don't want that so my advice is to pay attention to every detail you will find here

1. Having no goal at all: imagine you're in a team of 11 players on the field ready to face another team of 11 players

Both your team and that of the opponent are leading champions of their respective states, there's no doubt to how excellent they both are

It's a major match the stadium is filled

No one wants to miss it

The next 90mins would be hot

Others predicted a draw but your team wants a win as well as the other

But the end of the match would determine that

The match is about to begin, everyone is ready then suddenly you realize an unusual

Behold the ball but no goal post

Would you just ignore that and play on?

How long do you think the match would last to decide the scores and outcome of the match would you just be happy to play on the field having only records of ball possessions without goals

It's only with the goal post that lost chances can be calculated

Even if that match exceeds 90mins don't you think such a match is aimless?

Well you wouldn't want to play any match without first creating a goal post 

Even kids when they decide to play with their friends they create their goal post

Why go on in life without Goals or at least a goal

Many people make the mistake of calling their wishes goals

An average Nigerian has several wishes without any goal

No matter the good intentions you have for yourself

If it's not boldly written down it's not a goal, it's just a wish

Write your goals with actionable steps, have a plan and take the actions

Do you have a goal? If not stop right here take a pen and a notebook write your goals

Spiritual, educational, career, Business, health

Whatever area you want a change, write it down

2. Planning for failure: Seems impossible right? Yet it's the truth

Many find it hard to plan out their success therefore settle for the less stressful activity - planning for failure

Are you a victim? Before you answer that read the next line

Not having a plan is a plan itself

You probably have heard this saying "if you fail to plan, you plan to fail"

If you would succeed then you should make it your habit to plan for Success

The next step after setting your goals is to make plans.

3. Laziness: If you're too lazy to set a goal, too lazy to make plans, too lazy to read a book that would change your life or too lazy to take a major step that would change your life, maybe it's starting a business or change bad habits

Then you're too lazy to succeed

4. Procrastination: Is the thief of time

You probably know that but do you know that your time is your life?

Whenever you find yourself saying tomorrow to every important thing or you never find the good time for anything to be now, you're procrastinating and you can't succeed that way

Whenever you feel like procrastinating say to yourself I'll do it now

It gives you a sense of urgency

5. Demeaning habits: these habits bring down your dignity and steal your self-respect either psychologically,  physically, or socially

Examples are fraud, Ponzi schemes, stealing etc

Success is about your whole being

Everything has to be fine and in a good state before you can say you've attained success

If I stop here and you also act upon everything you've read your success would be so unstoppable

Many people cut short their success halfway by living a nonchalant lifestyle thereby harming their health 

Eat well

Rest well

Exercise

Stop taking harmful substances

Stop doing activities that would harm your health

Do this and you will enjoy your success
